My weight is holding rock steady. I’m tellin’ ya, if I ever lose the weight I want to lose I will have NO problem maintaining. I’ve had tons of practice at that. Got the protein mix. It doesn’t taste as bad as I thought it would. I got the chocolate, but I think next time I’ll try the vanilla. Vanilla is better for adding other flavors.
Again, based on William’s recommendation, I got some Meta Mucil powder. I know I need more fiber and he said MM is the best one. Tried some this morning after my workout, and it tastes really good. It has a very tangy orange flavor. The grit doesn’t dissolve very well and you have to mix it a lot and drink it quickly, but it takes only 8 ounces of water so it’s not difficult to get down.
William introduced me to Jacob’s Ladder last week, and it tore up my left knee. Fortunately, William knew exactly what to do about it. Today we concentrated on quads and hamstrings and he showed me some exercises I can do at home. The irony is, if it weren’t for my knees I’d have really strong legs. I have no problem with any of the exercises that involve various leg presses. That’s what 11 years of karate will do. I am still enjoying my training. I try to get to the gym each work day around 11:30 to practice what William has me do on the machines. I use the early morning to do my cardio.
Well, my Cardinals didn’t last long in the baseball post-season, so I started rooting for the Cubs because I like seeing history being made. And, of course, the Cubs lost to the Mets. So, baseball season is over. Although, I may watch some of the World Series just because I like baseball much better than football. It may be more fun since I don’t have a stake in the outcome. I could just enjoy some (hopefully) good baseball.
