End of Week 130 – Stalled, stalled, stalled….

Still at 260.  At least I didn’t gain.  My very short term goal right now is to not gain over Thanksgiving week.  I think the key to that will be to get to the gym as much as possible.  I don’t usually overeat at Thanksgiving, believe it or not.  However, I do like to indulge in the occasional cookie or piece of fudge – something I have been avoiding for a while.

Of course, I need to keep in mind that my body is not used to those rich treats any more and if I eat too many (not hard to do at this point – I think my tolerance is lower than it used to be) I’ll probably get sick.  So, perhaps changes to my systems over the time I’ve been at this project will help me keep on the plan, even this holiday week.

My female kitty, Miss Olyvia, is being especially clingy today.  I’m trying to type this entry and she is trying to climb on top of me and curl up somewhere.  Olyvia is our ADHD kitty.  She can’t stay in one place for more than a couple of minutes and is constantly running around the house.  She is also quite “skittish”, or easily startled, but I think that’s just part of being a cat.  She is a beautiful cat and very cuddly, so when I’m not busy at the computer I try to pay attention to her.

Sleuthy, on the other hand, has always been more aloof.  He is male, larger, older by a year, and more settled.  However, the two of them often hunt each other through the house.  I love that because it means Sleuthy gets exercise.  They are both great cats.From Phone March 2014 031I’ve been planning Christmas for a while and have made more progress than usual at this time of year.  We have to think in advance because we have to ship some presents to our family in Germany, but I think we have even that under control.  I’ve already ordered some things for my husband (who is sick with a cold right now) so the only one I really have to figure out is my son.  At least I don’t feel panicked this year.
